How? 

We target low-competition, medium to high-intent keywords. And then craft compelling, engaging content that readers can’t find anywhere else.

Our blog posts tend to be at least 1,500 words for two reasons. Because a) Google prefers long-form content and b) we need to make it long to provide THE most valuable content out there on the topic.

  • 1. We start by researching the keywords that we want to rank for (using Ahrefs). Our goal is to find low-competition keywords that have at least 100 searches per month.

    If the search is high intent (like "best IVF clinics New York"), a lower search volume is fine. Even 30 monthly searches could be enough.

    If the search is lower intent (like "IVF success rates by age"), we typically aim for a higher search volume (like 500+). Because fewer of those clicks will turn into leads, we need more traffic to make it worthwhile.

    2. I look at the competition. See what AI is saying about the topic. And then ask ourselves:

    "How can we do better? What unique perspective or value can we bring to this post that people can't find anywhere else?"

    Storytelling and sharing unique viewpoints from your medical team would be a great way to achieve this.

    We would like to interview you (and/or other members from your team) to get all of our questions answered and make the post as value-packed as possible.

    3. Based on the research, we’ll craft a high-quality, engaging, long form blog post (at least 1,500 words) that answers the readers' questions and motivates them to take the next step. Our goal is for it to be THE most valuable free resource on the topic.

    Our philosophy is this:

    It's much more effective to publish one REALLY good blog post per month than a few "meh" posts per week.

    To give you an idea, normally our articles are at least 2,500 words. Sometimes more.

    Google prefers long-form content as well so this type of content is more likely to rank higher in Google.

    We use AI to brainstorm ideas (kinda like a writing assistant). But we do not use it to write for us (that's the quickest way to lose visitors!).

    To improve readability, we break up the text with bolding, lots of (non Stock) photos, short paragraphs and subheadings.

    4. And then (and only then) do we optimize for SEO. Adding the keyword we want to rank for throughout the post (in the body text and subheadings). But only in a way that feels natural (so no keyword stuffing).

    We’ll provide your team with a meta description and meta title to optimize for SEO as well. That way, we get as many clicks as possible from Google. 

    5. After we hit "publish," we need to go to Google Search console and pop in the link. Then click "request indexing." That tells Google to start showing the post in search results.

    So that sums it up!

    The key is to create highly valuable content that answers peoples' questions, keeps them engaged and motivates them to take the next step (book an appointment).

    Engaging content will keep people on the page for longer, which will tell Google that your content is valuable and therefore allow your content to rank higher.
